The best PS4 Pro prices, bundles and sales in Australia (August 2018)
UPDATED: If you're looking for a Pro console, the savings playing field is pretty empty at the moment, but the best deal going is from Amazon, and it's bundled with some exclusive Fortnite content to boot. Check it out below.
Sony beat Microsoft to the punch with its new 4K gaming system, the PS4 Pro , and you should definitely grab one.
Here you'll find the best prices around on the PlayStation 4 Pro console and any bundle deals available so you can score Sony's excellent 4K system and jump right into the amazing array of PS4 games available at the moment.
We've got a dedicated page if you're looking for some excellent prices on the PlayStation VR and PlayStation Camera .
Keep this page bookmarked and we'll update it with bundles as they arrive, or scroll further down if you've got any burning questions about the new 4K PS4 Pro. To compare PlayStation 4 Pro prices in real time, check out our pick below, or visit our sister site Getprice .
The best PlayStation 4 Pro bundles
While Playstation 4 Pro bundles are constantly shifting from store to store, we've listed and ranked the best current options from the major retailers below so you don't have to do the sniffing and scratching yourself.
Remember that the value of a bundle will ultimately come down to whether or not you were going to purchase the included game (or games) anyway and while some bundles are obviously better priced than others, you should check to see if that saving is worthwhile.
Need an extra controller on the cheap? Take a look at the best DualShock 4 deals.
What is the PS4 Pro?
Although the PS4 Pro isn't a 'next-gen' console necessarily, it is an upgrade of the PS4 and features the coveted 4K and HDR options that we're hearing so much about.
The new machine will allow game developers to include 4K options in their games, so expect the like of Uncharted 4, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Days Gone, Horizon: Zero Dawn and more to look even better on a 4K TV.
HDR, or High Dynamic Range is the other buzzword to be excited about as the PS4 Pro will allow for extra detail to be seen on a range of games and also a wider range of colours not usually displayed by traditional HD TVs.
Will my old PS4 games work on PS4 Pro?
Yes. While not every game will be patched to take advantage of the new 4K/HDR capabilities, all of your old games will still work. Not only that, but the default upscaling (if you have a 4K TV) will likely see some improvements to the visuals and the boosted console power may give a slight nudge to the frame rates for some smoother play.
What else can I watch in 4K/HDR on PS4 Pro?
With services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video adopting 4K and HDR, with an ever-growing library entering the services, the PS4 Pro will be excellent as a streaming and media hub for your home theatre. There's also a lot of free 4K content on the YouTube app, and Stan has plenty of 4K although no HDR-compatible content yet.
Does the PS4 Pro support 4K Blu-rays?
No. The Xbox One S does support them though, so this was a bit of a surprise from Sony. So if you're specifically after a 4K Blu-ray player then head over to the competition, but as many viewers are crossing over to streaming services for their digital viewing, this may prove a wise move from Sony in the long run.
Do I need a 4K TV to run a PS4 Pro?
You don't NEED a 4K TV, no. The PS4 Pro will still run as per normal on a regular 1080p TV, although you won't get the benefits of upscaling or HDR though. There's a chance you may see a frame-rate boost or a slim amount of extra detail, but we wouldn't expect a massive leap.
If your mind is on a 4K TV, then you should probably go with a Pro rather than a Slim as it'll future proof you for a while and, realistically, the price jump is worth the longevity. Be sure to look out for a TV that supports HDR too, in order to take full advantage of the PS4 Pro's capabilities.
Will PlayStation VR be better on the PS4 Pro?
Maybe. Early reports seem to suggest it will as the PlayStation VR frame-rate is better on PS4 Pro and the resolution gets a bit of a bump too. You don't need a PS4 Pro to use PlayStation VR but this increase in specs may contribute a little to the immersion.
Does the PS4 Pro have optical audio support?
Yes! Although the optical audio output has been removed from the PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro owners  will still be able to use optical connections for their soundbars and sound systems.
What are the best games on PS4 Pro?
After scrounging through our back catalogue of PS4 games that have received a Pro update patch, we've come up with a feature packed with the games that look the best and have a noticeable difference. Take a look at our extensive list - The best PS4 Pro games .

The best SIM only on EE deals in August 2018
We can see why a SIM only deal with EE might appeal. If you've just come to the end of your mobile phone contract but don't much fancy ditching your current handset, shoving a free SIM in there is a thrifty alternative to upgrading. And EE is the UK network offering the fastest 4G speeds around.
The same goes if you've managed to get hold of a bargain SIM-free phone or have been gifted a hand-me-down from a friend or family member. SIMO could be a good way to go.
Check out our comparison table below to get a tailor-made EE SIM only deal. And further down the page, we'll tell you more about what to expect from EE, how to keep hold of your current number and answers to more commonly asked questions.
EE can be quite a pricey network, so do make sure that you consult our best SIM only deals page before you decide on your SIM. Sometimes retailers throw handsome cashback offers into the mix as a sweetener.
Is EE a good mobile network?
EE is the most used network in the UK and took home the Best Consumer Network prize at the 2017 Mobile Industry Awards - so pretty good pedigree, we'd say!
The reason EE stands out most however, is its 4G speeds. It's the fastest network by some distance, and around 50% faster than any of the other three major networks (Vodafone, O2 and Three).
Are EE SIM only deals cheaper than contract?
We don't want to sound like a politicians but there is no direct answer to this one. Let us sit on the fence by saying, "it can be".
If you've just come to the end of your contract and are perfectly happy with your current mobile, then grabbing a free SIM from EE is undoubtedly cheaper than starting a fresh contract with a brand new phone .
But EE's SIM only offers are just a little bit too dear to make them worth combining with a pricey handset purchase. Fore example, if you were to go with the cheapest EE SIM and combine it with the £699 iPhone 8, you'd be paying around the same over two years as the cheapest iPhone 8 deals we've seen.
Can I keep my old number?
You absolutely can and, in most instances, it's actually really easy. You'll need to phone up your pre-EE network and ask them for a PAC, or Porting Authorisation Code. Then you need to give that to EE, and they will keep you rolling with your familiar old digits. These are the numbers to call if you're currently on one of the other major networks:
O2 0344 8090202Vodafone 03333 040 191Three 0333 300 3333ID 0333 003 7777GiffGaff 43431 from your handsetVirgin 0345 6000 789BT 0800 800 150Tesco 0345 301 4455Sky 03300 412 524Asda 0800 079 2732
It's a little bit less straightforward if you're already on EE, but have spotted a new EE SIM only deal from a third party company that really appeals. EE won't give you a PAC, so instead you'll have to grab the cheapest free pay-as-you-go SIM you can find from another network (e.g. O2, Vodafone, iD, etc) and give them your PAC code from EE. Once your number has transferred to the substitute network, call them for a second PAC. Then you can give this to EE and continue using that same telephone number. Sneaky.
Is my phone unlocked - can I use a new SIM in it?
Pop a friend's SIM card into your phone. If you immediately get on their network, then you're in luck - your phone is unlocked and you can go ahead and buy your new SIM card.
Three ships all its handsets unlocked from the outset, but the other networks require at least some effort, and usually some cash, from you (see below). And Apple iPhones are generally locked completely to the network they were originally sold with. So again be prepared to pay to unlock it to EE.
O2 You can unlock any O2 phone for free if you're on a pay monthly contract. PAYG customers have to pay £15. The only exceptions are the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, for which you'll have to wait until the end of your contract before they can be unlocked.Three Three phones are all unlocked as soon as they come out of the box. So you can put an EE SIM card in any Three mobile you like without charge and hassle.Vodafone Like Three, Vodafone doesn't expect you to pay to unlock your handset. But there is a little effort required from you. You'll need to give them a call and then wait up to 10 days before you can use another network's SIM. What SIM card size do I need?
There are three sizes of SIM card that you can get for your phone, and different phones use different sizes. No modern smartphones take the classic standard SIM (15x25mm) anymore. Your phone will almost definitely take either a micro (12x15mm) or nano (8.8x12.3mm) SIM, the latter of which has been used by Apple since the iPhone 5 and Samsung since the Galaxy S6.
But there's no need to get your knickers in a twist about this one. The networks and third party sellers will let you choose which SIM you need or will simply send out a triple SIM, so you'll get one of each size. Alternatively, they'll send you an adapter so you can use the incorrect SIM size in your phone.
What contract length should I get?
EE doesn't offer 1-month SIM only contracts directly, but retailers such as Carphone Warehouse have now started to offer these short term contracts. That's really handy if you need a stop gap SIM before you splash out on a longer contract deal.
Otherwise, you tend to be able to bag cheaper tariffs if you ramp things up to a one year commitment. Use the 'Contract Length' filter in our comparison chart to narrow down your options.
How much phone data do I need?
Unless you've only ever had pay-as-you-go phones, you've probably already got a pretty decent idea of how many GBs of data you'll need per month. If you constantly go over your allowance, or have bundles of data to spare a month, then selecting your new EE SIM is a good opportunity to recalibrate. But if you're still a little unsure, we can give you some guidance below...
1GB Unsurprisingly, going for EE's minimum amount of data also means its cheapest prices. It should be enough for occasionally using a maps app and checking your email away from Wi-fi, but not a lot else.2-3GB A lot of people go for a little more data, as a couple more quid a month doesn't seem like a lot in exchange for much more freedom. Keep up-to-date with social media, the football results and news apps in comfort.4-8GB If you frequently download podcasts while out of the house or can't face the daily commute without Spotify streaming, then it's worth paying extra for this mid-range of data.10-16GB EE SIM only deals begin to look a lot more reasonable when you get in to this echelon of data allowance, with 10-12GB plans its sweet spot much of the time. Loads of data for downloading and streaming.20-30GB EE doesn't bother with unlimited data, but the 30GB a month maximum is still a ridiculous amount of data to play with. You'd have to stream and download a lot of videos to go over your cap. Should I get unlimited calls and texts?
This is now actually a redundant question (we forgive you), as all EE SIMO deals now automatically come with unlimited minutes and texts included in the plan.
How does TechRadar make money from SIM only deals?
If you buy a phone after visiting this page, TechRadar will be paid a small commission by the network or reseller you buy from. This money is paid by the site you buy from and thus does not affect the amount you pay for your phone contract. If you go direct to the site you buy from, you would pay the same amount.
While some sites out there will be paid larger fees for pushing people to specific deals that aren't necessarily the cheapest, TechRadar will always find you the absolute best value. Trust and integrity is important to us, so if you ever think we're not displaying the very best deals let us know.
Now you're in the know, scroll back to the top of the page to get hold of the EE SIM that suits you. And if you're not sure that EE is the right network for you, then see what the other networks have to offer in our guide to the best SIM only deals .

The best SIM only on Three deals in August 2018
The Three network has long been the go-to destination if you're looking for shedloads of data - it's still the only major player offering truly unlimited (and unrestricted) data packages. And time and again now it comes up with superb SIM only deals that we just have to shout about - there's a lot to like about going for SIM only with Three.
If you've landed on this page, we imagine you've already figured out that combining a SIM only plan with a SIM-free phone or your beloved existing handset can be a brilliant way to save cash. And if it is big data that you crave, Three's £18 tariff for 30GB is unparalleled by the likes of Vodafone, EE or O2 - the tariff took home the inaugural Best Phone Deal Award at last year's Mobile Choice Consumer Awards.
Scroll down to our comparison tool to pick out your ideal Three SIM only deal - whether you need it now, or to match up with a bargain handset in the near future. And if you're not yet sold on the Three network or are still unsure about how going SIM only works, keep scrolling down to our FAQ.
Is Three the best mobile network for me?
As we've said above, there are two very good reasons why you should consider Three for SIM only . The first is the price tag - it often gets the jump on the other 'Big 4' networks when it comes to its SIM card pricing. And the second is if you like a plan with oodles of data.
Plus, if you're looking for a network that's going to send freebies and rewards to your inbox every week, Three has just improved on that side of things, too. You get access to the Wuntu app, which gives you free coffees, cheap lunches and big discounts.
Three's Essential and Advanced plans
Grab a Three SIM, and you'll be on one of two plans:
Three Essential Plans
The cheapest Three SIM only deals are on the Essential plan, and this will be completely fine for most people. It lacks a handful of benefits that you get with Advanced, but you still get 4G coverage, unlimited texts and use of Wi-Fi on the London Underground. Unless you're a keen globetrotter or need to tether, stick to the bare Essentials.
Three Advanced Plans
Make the jump to an Advanced Plan and make yourself comfortable with the network's Feel At Home extra - unlimited use of your data, calls and texts in 60 other countries, including the US and Australia. Go Binge let's you stream Netflix, Apple Music TVPlayer, Deezer and SoundCloud away from Wi-Fi without eating into your data allowance. Plus, you can use your phone as a Personal Hotspot from which to tether your laptop or tablet.
Are Three SIM only deals cheaper than contract?
If you're at the end of your contract or blagged a friend's old unlocked phone, then grabbing a Three SIM card is undeniably cost effective. They start at less than £10 a month.
But if you're starting afresh with a new phone, you get no discernible benefit from heading down the handset and SIM only combo road with Three. Whether you're after an iPhone 8 , Samsung Galaxy S9 or something cheaper, the deals you can get by simply grabbing a normal two year tariff are more reasonable in the long run. You can head to our mobile phone deals page to compare contract prices of the latest, greatest handsets around.
Can I keep my old number?
Give your current network a call (on one of the below numbers), ask for your PAC - short for Porting Authorisation Code - give it to Three and they'll gladly transfer over your old telephone number. So no need to send out a text to your entire contacts list with a new number:
EE 07953 966 250O2 0344 8090202Vodafone 03333 040 191ID 0333 003 7777GiffGaff 43431 from your handsetVirgin 0345 6000 789BT 0800 800 150Tesco 0345 301 4455Sky 03300 412 524Asda 0800 079 2732
Easy, right? But not so easy if you were already on Three and then decided to go for one of the deals in our comparison chart that isn't directly with Three. Three won't give you a PAC in this situation, so instead you'll have to grab the cheapest free pay-as-you-go SIM you can find from another network (e.g. O2, EE, iD, etc) and give them your PAC code from Three. Once your number has transferred to the substitute network, call them for a second PAC. Then you can give this to Three and continue using that same telephone number. A convoluted but handy workaround.
What is the Wuntu rewards app?
Three used to be a little bit stingy when it came to free gifts. That was until it unleashed the Wuntu app, which gives users of the Three network a selection of discounts, freebies and competitions every week. In the past we've seen free coffees, meals out and cinema tickets. So a nice little perk if you're weighing up Three against another network.
Is my phone unlocked - can I use a Three SIM in it?
If Three is where your heart is, then you may already know that it ships all of its phones completely unlocked. That means you can put a SIM card from any network in your handset and you're good to go.
Unfortunately, not all networks are as profligate in this regard. Some networks require you to pay to unlock your mobile and Apple iPhones are generally locked completely to the network they were originally sold with. Here's how the other major networks operate:
EE Get through the first six months of your contract, call EE on 0800 956 6000 and pay them £8.99 and it'll unlock your phone. It says it will take around 10 days to complete. PAYG phones can be unlocked for free.O2 You can unlock any O2 phone for free if you're on a pay monthly contract. PAYG customers have to pay £15. That's unless your phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, in which case you'll have to wait until the end of your contract before it can be unlocked.Vodafone Vodafone is similar to Three. It will unlock your handset for free, but you have to give them a call to do so. From there, it's likely to take 10 days before you can use another network's SIM in your phone. What SIM card size do I need?
We hate to sound glib (we really do), but it doesn't really matter if you're moving to Three. Whatever plan you choose, you'll receive a 'trio-sim'. So whether your phone takes a micro SIM, nano SIM or an old-school standard SIM, you're covered.
What contract length should I get?
Three gives you the choice between signing up for a whole year, or paying a little more for 1 month at a time. It may cost you a few quid extra per month, but if you know that you'll only need use of your new SIM for a few months, it should save you plenty in the long run.
How much phone data do I need?
If you're sniffing around Three, there's a good chance that you've already made up your mind and want to go straight for the jugular - 30GB or unlimited data.
But if you're still trying to make up your mind, and have no notion of exactly how much data you'll really need per month, then our quick guide below will help. Alternatively, why not grab a big data deal for one month, see how much data you use, and then downsize after that...?
500MB-2GB If you just need a very cheap free SIM to shove in your phone and barely use data away from WI-FI, then we're not going to persuade you otherwise. But bear in mind that Three's 4GB tariffs can often be as cheap, or just a couple pounds more a month.4-8GB This is a solid wedge of data that you should be able to bag for a reasonable monthly rate. A good amount if you want to safely use Google Maps, stream Spotify and update your downloads without going over your limit.12-20GB Although unlimited data sounds very attractive on paper, ask yourself whether you really need it. And check your current usage - you may be surprised how far you can get with 12-20GB. It's a huge allowance that allows for loads of downloading, social media browsing and a few films' worth of streaming per month.30GB At the risk of repeating ourselves, this is Three's sweet spot - whether you're going SIM only or contract. It's more data than most people will know what to do with, but the prices can be really reasonable. Far cheaper than going unlimited.Unlimited If you've already made up your mind about getting unlimited, we doubt there's much we can say to change your mind. And it's certainly a liberating feeling to have the freedom of unlimited data. But prices can get really expensive, so we'd urge you only to sign up if you really need it. Should I get unlimited calls and texts?
Unlimited texts are a given with Three, regardless of whether you get an Essential or Advanced plan. But lots of plans do place restrictions on calls - usually 200 or 600 minutes. If you don't actually make that many calls from your mobile, then you can bag a cheaper deal by going for one of these. Chatterboxes should pay extra for unlimited minutes or, if you're going for a big data deal anyway, make use of apps like WhatsApp or the network's Three inTouch and use data calling.

Best gaming laptops under Rs 50,000 for August 2018
No matter how much you play on our smartphone, tablet or console, nothing really beats gaming on a PC does it? And PC gaming is often better served by a laptop. There are several of these, which offer a great deal of performance without sacrificing much on portability. Here we have listed the best gaming laptops you can buy for less than Rs 50,000.
However, it is actually a bit tricky to choose the perfect gaming rig below Rs 50k, as none of them are properly suited for a hardcore gamer. You should aim for the right balance between processing power and graphics capability in the laptop you wish to buy.
We have selected the top 10 laptops that boast of optimum gaming capabilities while costing under Rs 50,000.
Please note that the prices mentioned below are based on what was available at the time this article was written. These may slightly vary as deals and offers keep changing from time to time.
But before we begin with the gaming laptops, here's the best value for money all-round notebook you can buy under 50k right now.
Buy Dell Vostro 3578 on Amazon
Dell Vostro 3578 is the first suggestion from us if the purpose is allround usage from office/college work to a slice of multimedia at home. It packs the latest set of Intet i5 8th gen processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM to power all the basic office chores. It's 15.6-inch display is not the best in the range, but still does its job quite well. The design is as basic as you can expect but the build is quite solid with premium finish on the outer shell. Has most common connectivity ports and ample of power for the price.
Budget gaming laptops from next page
With the 7th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU, the Lenovo Ideapad 320 80XL01D9IN clearly has the impressive processing power. However, this is not evenly matched with a capable graphics card. The 2GB GDDR3 NVIDIA GeForce 920MX simply doesn’t support hardcore gaming. Still, the laptop should be good enough for casual gamers to play on medium settings.
Externally, the Ideapad 310 80SM01HVIH is built quite decently. It supports a host of connectivity options ranging from dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth till Gigabit LAN and DVD Writer. This high-end laptop from Lenovo comes without Windows OS and you need to manually install it.
Asus has perfectly balanced the processing power and graphics performance of the R-Series R558UQ-DM983D. The 7th Gen Intel Core i5 paired with NVIDIA GeForce 940MX should be able to run most gaming titles with relative ease. The Full HD screen would surely be an eye candy - another plus for this machine.
The build quality of the laptop is good and it won’t feel cheap in your hands. However, availability is indeed a concern as the Asus R-Series R558UQ-DM983D often goes out of stock at various online as well as offline retailers.
The HP AY503TX is a well-built laptop with decent specifications. Despite being a year old model, it is quite relevant even in today's market. The AY503TX will be able to run average to flagship games with standard settings.
The company has priced all of its 7th Gen Intel Core i5 laptops above Rs 50,000. Nevertheless, the HP AY503TX is quite good for gaming as well as multimedia consumption. In India, you may also claim the HP Student Offer.
This is a very good under-Rs 50,000 gaming laptop by Asus. While everything is perfect about the R558UQ-DM540D, it is the below-average RAM that bothers us. Moreover, there is only a single RAM slot in the notebook. This means you can't upgrade the RAM.
Apart from this, the Asus R558UQ-DM540D is a very good offering. It sports the top notch Bang & Olufsen Speakers, which, combined with the Full HD Anti-glare display makes the notebook an excellent entertainment gadget.
It is quite surprising to find a laptop with GDDR5 graphics priced below Rs 50,000. For starters, GDDR5 GPUs are significantly faster than GDDR3 options and offer enormous improvements in gaming and other graphics intensive works. This does make the Lenovo Ideapad IP 320 80XL033MIN one of the most powerful gaming notebooks on a budget.
If you can bear with the tiny 2-cell battery here, buying it is a no-brainer. Furthermore, the notebook also comes with Windows 10 preinstalled, relieving you from the troubles of installing a fresh OS.
The HP 15-be001TX is a relatively powerful laptop with an affordable price tag. With a 6th Gen Intel Core i5 and AMD Radeon R5 M430 GPU, the performance should be smooth. The notebook would run average to high-end games under low to middle settings.
On the outside, the laptop looks quite decent, while sporting DTS Studio Sound enabled stereo speakers. However, the HD screen somewhat spoils the show.
For a price of Rs. 42,990, it is hard to believe how powerful the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G is! It is possibly the best laptop you can buy in the Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000 range. The notebook offers top notch graphics performance with great processing power and even comes pre-installed with Genuine Windows 10.
With the 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA 940MX GPU and 7th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU sitting inside, we can’t ask for anything better. The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G is actually too good a deal.
The Lenovo IP 320 80XL0375IN is another blockbuster laptop that offers out of the world price to performance ratio. For a price tag of just above Rs 40,000, this notebook offers a high-end GDDR5 GPU, which is usually found in machines costing upwards Rs 60,000.
Admittedly, 4GB RAM is not the best fit for any gaming laptop, but one can only expect only so much on a budget.
However, there is a second RAM slot and you can always buy another RAM stick and slide it in. It supports up to 16 GB of RAM.
This is the DOS version of the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G and comes with identical specifications. The combination of 7th Gen Intel Core i5 Processor and 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU is quite potent indeed. Even laptops costing upwards Rs 60,000 will have a tough time beating the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575.
The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575 takes the crown of being the best gaming laptop under Rs 50,000. It is simply unbelievable what the company is offering at only Rs 40,990. Besides, the notebook also rocks dual-band Wi-Fi, Stereo Speakers, DVD Writer and HD Webcam.
These are the absolute best gaming laptops you can get within Rs. 50,000. Go through each of the 10 notebooks carefully and choose the one that is best suited to your needs. A little tip: Swap the Hard Disk with an SSD and you will unlock these machines’ true potentials.

Best laptops under Rs 40,000 in India for August 2018
The top laptops under Rs. 40000 now often feature a dedicated graphics card for mild gaming on a budget, without compromising on other aspects of the device. The sub 40K is most the most asked price segment when it comes to notebooks. From students to office-goers, everyone can easily get a laptop that does basic day to day tasks with an ease.
If it's about the add-ons, many of them offer a dedicated graphic card, or multimedia features or sometimes you may get additional power for intensive tasks. But certainly  not enough power to suffice the need of a video editor or a graphic designer for that matter.
Still, finding the best laptops among the options available can be a little challenging. There are many configurations available, some with newer processors and some with older ones. Some of the previous generation laptops may also be better than newer ones when you consider the specs-to-price ratio.
As always, we’ve tried to make the job of selecting the best laptop under Rs 40,000 easier for you.
Note that these prices and deals were available when this article was written.
Best laptops for students for under Rs 40,000
HP has several affordable options when it comes to laptops with an integrated graphics card. The HP 15-BE015TU features a 15.6-inch HD backlit LED display, along with the full set of connectivity options. Dual speakers, DTS audio sound and HP’s Truevision HD webcam round up the specs of the laptop.
The first Dell entrant in this list, the Inspiron 3567 comes with the latest generation of Intel’s Core i5 processor with integrated Intel HD graphics. It looks minimalist and comes with six hours of battery life, which is good compared to other options.
The Inspiron 3567 also features a similar 15.6-inch HD display, but comes with half the RAM compared to its competitors at this price. You will have to decide whether you want the latest generation processor or more RAM.
Another good laptop from Acer is the Aspire E5-575G. It comes with a 6th gen Core i3 processor, but makes up for it with a dedicated 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card.
Compared to the E5-575, it is slightly more expensive but having a dedicated graphics card could be worth it if your main goal is to game comfortably.
The Dell Inspiron 15 5000 is powered by a seventh generation Intel Core i6 processor coupled with Intel HD Graphics. It features a 15.6-inch full HD display, offering a vivid visual experience to users.
It is a powerful device and at this price point, offers excellent value for money to its users. It runs on Linux and sports dual stereo speakers with MaxxAudio Pro support, for a good audio experience.
The Asus X541UA-XO561T features a 15.6-inch HD display and is powered by a sixth generation Intel core i3 processor with Intel Integrated HD 520 graphics. It is equipped with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD and runs on Windows 10 Home.
Like other affordable laptops, this device from Asus also lacks dedicated graphics and is equipped with Intel HD graphics. Additionally, it offers only 4GB RAM, but considering its price, it is a capable contender in this list.
The HP 15-bs145tu features a 15.6-inch full HD display and is powered by an eighth generation Intel core i5 processor with Intel HD 620 graphics. It is equipped with 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD and runs on DOS.
The laptop is equipped with some good features from HP such as the HP Fast charge that allows you to charge the device to 90% in just 90 minutes and HP Audio that delivers rich bass and provides clear voice. This powerful device is a good option if you are looking for a long term device and are willing to spend around Rs. 40,000.
Acer has another E5-575 laptop with a newer Core i5 7th generation processor with integrated Intel HD graphics. It also comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM and a full set of connectivity options. Considering its current price, the E5-575 Core i5 is a good machine to consider, compared to the Dell Inspiron 3567.
The Lenovo Ideapad 310 comes with a 6th gen Intel Core i5 processor and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce N16V-GMR1 graphics card. A full set of ports for connectivity and a decent design makes the Ideapad 310 another worthy contender in this segment.
It also comes with decent battery life, making it a good all-round package under Rs 40,000.
The Dell Vostro 3468 with 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor is next in this list. The laptop comes with Window 10 operating system and has a plenty of ports including 1xUSB 2.0, 2xUSB 3.0, 1xHDMI port and 1xVGA port. Weighing 1.96kg, the laptop is lightweight which makes it highly portable for the users.
So, apart from getting a good processor, you will have a number of connectivity options and that too with a reasonable price tag.
Falling next very close to under-40k category is the Lenovo Ideapad 320. The laptop has in-built Harman speakers with Dolby Audio which ensure crystal clear sound to the users who like to consume media.
Along with superior sound quality, the laptop also offers crisp display with up to full HD IPS resolution. The 7th gen Intel i5 processor is still among the best you would get on a competition, so performance and efficiency is ensured. A 2GB graphic card also lets you play mild games without needing a gaming laptop, but of course, heavy titles might not fit in that system. But overall, it's a highly recommended machine for the price.
To compete with the above mentioned laptops, here comes the Dell Inspiron 15 5567. The laptop comes loaded with a good number of ports and Windows 10 Home operating system.
Its anti-glare LED backlit display along with Waves MaxxAudio Pro will definitely enhance your viewing experience. In addition to this, the 1TB storage capacity will allow you to save a number of multimedia files in the system.
Weighing 1.69 kg, this light weight laptop comes with DOS operating system and offers a good amount of storage space to the users. The CPU with a clock speed of 2 GHz along with 2 GB AMD Radeon R5 M430 graphics card handles the gaming aspect smoothly, thus leaving no space for glitches. It also provides a number of connectivity options and long working hours to the user.
The specs sheet of this laptop is somewhat similar to the laptop that we have mentioned above. But, there are some differentiating features as well. This includes 64-bit Windows 10 Home operating system, 8GB DDR4 RAM and the weight. Although the laptop will be heavy in weight, it will not on your pocket.

Best phones under Rs 15,000 in India for August 2018
Finding the very best smartphone under Rs 15,000 in a crowded market is difficult. While the big guns like the Samsung Galaxy S9 , iPhone X , LG V30 and Google Pixel 2 steal the show when it comes to flagship smartphones, there are a lot of intriguing options available in the world of budget phones as well.
Sadly though, smartphone innovation isn't cheap – and most of it is reserved for high-end phones. However, the technology that was once impossible to imagine on budget phones is now available at cheapest possible prices, thanks to the competitive market and Chinese manufacturers, that hold a massive market share in India.
We have used a lot of them, and many have actually impressed. Right now, there are some really good choices under Rs 15,000 range. If your budget is close to what we just mentioned, then we have some recommendations.
Don't need to worry about cost? Check out our best phone list
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is close to being the most dominant contender in sub 15k price segment. It was the first phone to ship with Snapdragon 636, now accompanied by the Zenfone Max Pro M1. The phone offers solid performance for price and combines all the necessary features like a good battery, big display, software features and more.
We even compared its new dual camera module with the OnePlus 5T , and the results were surprisingly good.

One of the most sensible phones that Asus has made in years. Yes, that's the kind of response the phone is getting after release. And the company has released the latest update that brings security patches and fixes performance.
It has everything that the Redmi Note 5 Pro has and it offers slightly better battery life, plus, a stock Android experience.  The camera is where the device looses some points, it doesn't impress in comparison to the Note 5 Pro, which is the only issue.

Xiaomi Mi A1
The result of Xiaomi's partnership with Google, the Mi A1 is supported by the Search giant's Android One program. It is aimed at users who want a premium smartphone experience at a low price.
The Mi A1 reboots Google's Android One program, which was at first created for budget phone makers. Google has now tweaked the finer points just a bit and will now house all phones that run on stock Android and not made by the company.
The Mi A1 features a full HD 5.5-inch IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, backed by 4GB of RAM and an onboard storage of 64GB which can further be expanded with the help of a microSD card.
The Mi A1 has a dual camera setup and houses twin 12-megapixel camera modules, one wide-angle, f/2.2 aperture and a telephoto f/2.6 camera. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera as well.
As the smartphone is associated with Android One, it runs on stock Android 7.1.2 with promised update to Android 8.0 Oreo and even Android P. The Mi A1 draws power from a 3,080 mAh battery which supports fast charging.
Buy Xiaomi Mi A1 from Flipkart @ Rs 14,999

Honor 8 Lite (32GB)
The Honor 9 lite has everything going for itself in the design department with the shiny 2.5D glass on back. It looks dapper in the Sapphire Blue colour variant.
The 18:9 aspect ratio display is vibrant and is reason enough to buy this phone. It also has a quad-camera setup. The front-facing cameras capture some good pictures while the rear one leaves much to be desired. There's no fast charge support which might be a deal breaker for some.

For just Rs 9,999, the Redmi Note 5 replaces the Note 4 for the top spot. The new phone is an update over its predecessor. It has a new 18:9 display with a slightly better camera and software optimisations. The smartphone has everything that one expects from a phone of this range.
The Snapdragon 625 with 3GB RAM is good enough to sail you through intensive usage with a phenomenal full-day battery life.

The Moto G5 Plus is one of the best smartphones under Rs 15,000. Dominating the sub 20K category, the Moto G5 Plus was launched in two storage variants - 3GB RAM/16GB internal storage and 4GB RAM/32GB internal storage. However, only the 3GB/16GB variant falls under the Rs 15K price segment.
It is the first G series phone to come with a metal build and looks very fresh and premium. Another highlight of the phone is its camera, which has sustained the standards set by its sibling, the Moto G4 Plus, and has improved upon them. The Snapdragon 625 chipset does a great job and 3GB RAM makes it good enough for multitasking.

The Redmi Y2 is the second iteration of Xiaomi's youth-focused Y-series. Of all the phones Xiaomi has launched till July 2018, the Y2 seemed like the biggest upgrade to its predecessor. Despite being a successful phone, the Redmi Y1 lacked the strength to be compared with the Redmi Note series, but the Y2 has a different story. Overall, the Y2 has proved to be a better composition of specifications and features than the Redmi Note 5.
Read Xiaomi Redmi Y2 review
Xiaomi's big-screen smartphone series, the Mi Max got a second iteration this year, which makes it one of the best big-display phones around. The 6.44-inch display is great to watch videos and consume other content.
That being said, it is nowhere near as bulky as you would expect from such a size. At just 7.6mm, it fits in the hand quite well and the aluminium casing gives it a robust and premium feel.
The Snapdragon 625 is one of the best available mid-range processors around and it's coupled with 4GB of RAM here. There are two storage variants: 32GB/64GB.
Speaking about its imaging capabilities, the 12-megapixel snapper is decent, but the front-facing camera is average.
What's amazing about the Mi Max 2 is the battery life. It lasts for a full day easily, despite the large display.

If the price is a non-issue, you can check out our overall list of the best headphones available in the market now .

1More Piston Fit
1More isn't a popular company here in India, yet. However, it does make excellent headphones which are also value for money purchases for consumers. The 1More Piston Fit in-ear headphones are the most affordable in-ears available in the market today which deliver balanced and clear sound.
The 45-degree angled design of the front cover fits comfortably in the ears, with two extra ear tips you switch between, depending on your ear shape, but some may find the silicon ear tips to be a little flimsy.
The sound quality is detailed but low-frequency sounds are lacking making the bass appear weak. If you're somebody who values details over bass, then these headphones are made for you.
SoundMagic PL30+ C
SoundMagic PL30+ C is well-known for its perfectly balanced audio output. There isn't going to be any need for you to fiddle with different equaliser settings to extract the best sound out of the headphones; the company has already done it for you. However, if you are inclined towards a specific type of acoustics, just choose the default equaliser setting for that respective niche and you’re done.
The appearance of the PL30+ C looks quite premium with its metal housing and quality construction. The headphones come in an attractive packaging which consists of a hard case, 5 sets of earbuds and a couple of hooks.
Sennheiser CX 275 S
Sennheiser is one of the most premium audio equipment manufacturing brands in the world. The CX 275 S is an entry-level offering from the company for the budget consumer. The headphones still manage to offer decent sound output which is a bit more inclined towards the treble.
The Sennheiser CX 275 S fits quite well in the ears and features a composed yet premium build quality.
SoundMagic E10C
These are another pair of exceptional headphones from SoundMagic. Just like the PL30+ C, the E10C is also tuned quite well with a subtle emphasis on the bass. In our opinion, this is one of best headsets for bass lovers under Rs 2,000.
Moving on to the build quality, the SoundMagic E10C kills it with metal construction and tangle-free wires. The retail package comprises of a plethora of earbuds, premium hard case, clip and a couple of adapters. The E10C is currently available in four attractive color choices.
Sony MDR-EX255AP
The Sony MDR-EX255AP is a decent pair of in-ear headphones with good sound quality. It sports an extensive range of frequency responses and delivers balanced audio output. Little adjustments to the equaliser can reveal the true capabilities of the headset.
Build quality-wise, the mid-range earphones are at par with the competition. The semi-braided wires along with the metal casing look and feel quite premium. With real-silicon earbuds, the Sony MDR-EX255AP fits quite well in the ears.
Sony MDR-XB450
These on-ear headphones are a paradise for bass lovers. With its huge 30 mm drivers, the Sony MDR-XB450 is capable of producing some extreme bass outputs which are quite unmatchable at its price range. However, this extra bass doesn’t mean that the headsets have weak treble. The MDR-XB450 fares quite well in the mids and the highs too.
Talking of the exterior finishing, the Sony MDR-XB450 looks quite magnificent with its flashy metallic housing and well-cushioned ear pads. However, the build quality is not too good for long-term usage as some external glitches tend to appear after a year of extensive use.
Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD
These headphones offer great build quality with premium metal housing and sturdy cables. Look-wise, there are few headsets in this price range that can beat the Mi Pro HD.
Xiaomi’s Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD is the arguably the best you can get if your budget is Rs 2,000. This is a truly high-end earpiece which is capable of producing top notch sound output as well as unrivaled sound recording ability. The only downside is that the Pro HD requires an extensive burn out period to deliver to its full potential.
Sony Extra Bass MDR-XB50
The Sony Extra Bass MDR-XB50 is another set of bass-oriented headphones from the Japanese company. The earpiece produces exceptional lows with well-balanced mids and highs. The only drawback of this headset is its comparatively lower maximum volume.
The MDR-XB50 is a decent looking product with a glossy metallic finished housing. However, the best part is its true silicon earbuds which fit really well in the ears. Sony also bundles some additional earbuds of different sizes and a carry pouch along with the earphones.
SoundMagic E30 in-ear headphones
The SoundMagic E30 was launched way back in 2013, but still, it is quite relevant to current standards. The earpieces generate a very well-balanced sound output with unmatchable clarity. The best part is that you can enjoy pure music which is not distorted by excessive bass. The E30 focusses more on the treble side while maintaining a composed, yet tight, bass.
When it comes to building quality, the SoundMagic E30 fails to impress. The headphones are made of cheap plastic with sub-standard finishing. The earpieces are designed to be worn over the ears with its cables going around your earlobes. If properly plugged in, the E30 provides exceptional noise cancellation and are quite comfortable too.
Audio-Technica ATH-AX1iS
The Audio-Technica ATH-AX1iS is a great pair of over-the-ear headphones which cost less than Rs 2,000. It offers well-tuned sound output with a somewhat composed bass. These earpieces also feature an inline microphone and volume control keys that work with any Android or iOS device.
Talking about the build quality, the ATH-AX1iS feels quite flimsy and the finishing is not really up to the mark. However, the headset is surprisingly durable and would not break off that easily. Last but not the least, the Audio-Technica ATH-AX1iS fits really well on the ears and you won’t feel uneasy even after extended usage.
BoAt Rockerz 510
This is the only Bluetooth headset in our list, and believe me, it’s a gem. The BoAt Rockerz 510 not only looks awesome but also sports excellent sound quality. The big 50 mm drivers inside the headphones churn out an unmatchable bass.
The build quality of the BoAt Rockerz 510 is outstanding. With materials like faux leather and aluminum combined with good quality polycarbonate, the Bluetooth headphones not only look great but also feel premium. If you are looking for a wireless headset under Rs 2,000, buying this is a no brainer.
